 IT
has advanced tremendously. The role of IT is to sustain society and support
the development of peopleﾕs ability. Based on this understanding, the Faculty
of Information Science aims to foster professionals who contribute to society
based on their knowledge of basic information science, the technology they
have mastered, and their high sense of ethics. The faculty also supports the
development of human resources that can apply IT appropriately, based on their
knowledge of social mechanisms and human qualities. Toward this end, the faculty
has set up the following learning environment: (1) a support room for students
to improve their basic education levels in mathematics and computer-related
subjects, (2) information wall sockets provided in all classrooms that enable
all students to use their notebook PCs at any time, and (3) a lecture recording
system that allows students to review lectures later and utilize the review
to prepare for the next lecture. |
